Biological Sciences

QED Labs developes computational research tools for biomedical
research that enable biologists, at all levels of computational
expertise, to easily process their data. We accomplish this with
innovative software that guides users on how, when, and why to perform data processing operations.

Software currently under development includes:

• Tumbleweed, QED Lab's premier software packages for electron microscopy structural studies. Tumbleweed includes icosahedral and single particle structure determination software as well as an extensive structure visualization and analysis package.
• Molecules in Motion is software for live cell imaging that allows extensive quantitative analysis of light microscopy images.
