Finally a day where we could get started first thing in the morning. Dad laid out the herringbone.
Because of the 45 degree angles in the herringbone Alan spent most of the day cutting brick and even had to goto the store to get another blade.
Dad put up the back herringbone wall rather quickly but the sides were harder.
The sun got hot so we tried making Dad a sunscreen.
But he didn't like it and took it down.
The rest of the afternoon was spent outside doing the block and a we bit more of the inside (not shown).
It must have been an OK day since I got Dad to laugh at the end.
