They installed the island slab on Friday 3/11. It doesn't look very big while in the truck.
George measured it first to be sure it fit before moving it in.
Todd took this very seriously...
Twelve men were needed to unload it from the truck.
and carry it into the house...
Lifting it onto the island was a bit tricky.
George made sure no one lowered the slab until it was properly positioned.
Alan layed the tile on the face of the fireplace
Fifteen minutes to get set and then the tile started going up quickly.
Next weekend we'll put in the grout.
The final cabinets were installed this week and then the slab here the current result:
