Speaker Install: Alan installed in ceiling speakers in the plaster ceilings over the Thanksgiving weekend. Cuttign through the plaster was somewhat difficult and very dusty.
Painting: Painting has begun. We have painted ceilings in several rooms and one painted wall in the stairwell.
We also have sample colors on most of the walls such as these colors in the Guest Room - we're going with the color on the left not the bright orange on the right...
Staircase: Staircase installation began this week. The newel posts and trim looks great. Unfortunately the balluster spacing is not what we wanted so they are removing them and reinstalling them. The right design should be in next week.
Trim: Trim install has been progressing as you can see with the trimmed out media room window.
They have a "workbench" set-up in the kitchen (where the island will be) for cutting stuff.
