November

Week 37: Tile, Cabinets, Wainscot

12/24: Complete up bath wainscot and begin laying stairs slate.
12/23: More doors, trim, wainscot, Black grout tuest bath tile prep for stairs.
12/22: Begin up bath wainscot. White grout Guest bath tile.
12/21: Details for media room bar installed, guest bath tile prep for grout.
12/20: Media room bar install started, guest bath tile.

Week 36: Cabinets & Tile

12/17: Granite measure, guest bath tile, meet with cabinet painter.
12/16: Kitchen uppers, laundry room and staircase cabinets installed. Guest bath tile.
12/15: Kitchen stained cabinet installed. Guest bath tile.
12/14: Cabinet install, guest bath tile.
12/13: More kitchen cabinet install, guest bath tile.

Week 35: Cabinets, Heat

12/10: Temporary heat installed, temp lighting set-up.
12/9: More cabinet install, begin tiling guest bath.
12/8: First coat of stucco applied, Kitchen paint grade cabinet install, Guest bath show floated
12/7: Kitchen cabinet toe kicks installed, Stair railing redone.
12/6: Nothing

Week 34: Stairs, Trim, Paint

12/4: Paint prep, closet doors installed
12/3: Meet with Kelley to go over problem wth balluster install - they will redo it. More paint prep.
12/2: Painters prep. First staircase balluster install but it is not right.
12/1: Paint ceiling in hall/laundry room, 1st color coat in stairwell.
11/30: More staircase install, window and door trime, baseboard install.
11/29: Crystal Died; Baseboard install, begin staircase install. Alan sent everyone home early.

Week 33: Doors

11/27: Alan finished speaker instal, Pam painted some window screens.
11/26: Knob Shopping, some speaker install
11/25: Alan begin speaker install
11/24: Hang more doors
11/23: Hang doors
11/22: Some of the doors arrive

Week 32: Sub-flooring/Trim prep

11/20: Pam & Alan install fireplace logs - some heat in front of house! :)
11/19: Some doors arrived

11/15: Lay sub-flooring in kitchen, finish framing fireplace.

Week 31: Final Drywall, Prime, Interior Plumbing

11/12: Plumbing moved indoors: new water heater, indoor kitchen sink and washer/dryer.
11/11: Prime Walls!
11/10: More trenching, bit more taping/sanding etc.
11/9: Trench for drainage piping, sand drywall
11/8: Taping/skim coat.

Week 30: Drywall Taping

11/6: Pam & Alan install rubber flooring
11/5: More taping, waterproof basement for leak
11/4: Let drywall mud dry.
11/3: More drywall taping
11/2: Install Exterior Trim, more drywall taping
11/1: Tape drywall

October

Week 29: Drywall :) and Wetfloor :(

10/29: Complete drywall installation.
10/28: More drywall installation - lower level. Dig out to find leak - problems with water proofing.
10/27: Begin drywall installation - upstairs. Dig out to find leak.
10/26: Final rough work. After heavy rain guest room has pool of water on floor.
10/25: Electrical in media room soffit. Drywall arrives.
10/24: Pam/Alan make final fixes for wires etc.

Week 28: Insulation, Media Room Soffit, Final Drywall prep.

10/22: Misc items for drywall.
10/21: Hat track installation, misc items for drywall.
10/20: Insulation Inspection; Soffit put up; Pam/alan hung more roofing.
10/19: Nothing; Pam/Alan hung more roofing so soffit could be installed.
10/18: Finish Insullation Installation.
10/16-17: Pam/Alan began hanging very heavy roofing as soundproofing.

Week 27: Final Rough + Insulation

10/15: Insulation installation started.
10/14: Nothing.
10/13: Final inside framing, fireplace framing and Rough inspecation - PASSED!
10/12: Electrical part of day.
10/11: Some electrical finish-up. Plumbers fix leak under Al's office.
10/9-10/10: Pam/Alan Finish running wires.

Week 26: Electrical

10/8: Plumbing corrections, more electrical.
10/7: Fireblocking, more electrical.
10/6: More electrical.
10/5: More electrical.
10/4: Electrical - lo voltage wiring.
10/2-10/3: Alan run more speaker wires minimal help from sick Pam.

8-21: We installed rebar for fireplace foundation.

Week 19: Misc framing, some plumbing.

8-20: Measurement for cabinets, installed Media room window.
8-19: Nothing.
8-18: Misc framing, Stairs measurements, plumbers.
8-17: Misc upstairs framing.
8-16: Misc lower level framing.

Week 18: More Upper Level Framing.

8-13: Ceiling level framing, misc items.
8-12: Kitchen exterior doorway and pump-out roof. Begin rough plumbing.
8-11: Kitchen/Hall wall framing, ceiling work.
8-10: Kitchen bump-out framing. Upper level window install.
8-9: Frame bathroom/laundry room walls.
8-8: We finished fireplace foundation forms.

Web 17: More demo and some framing, fireplace foundation work.

8-7: Begin putting up forms for fireplace foundation.
8-6: Frame outer stair/bathroom wall.
8-5: Work on stair well.
8-4: Framing in the kitchen. Big hole for the stairs.
8-3: Removed last bit of old kitchen that was holding up the roof. Added roof bracing and ceiling joists.

July

Week 16: Lower Level framing done. Upper Level Demo

7-30: More demo - guest room floor, closets, all ceiling joists
7-29: More demo - remove stucco for sheer walls, begin guest room demo
7-28: More demo - kitchen floor, ceiling and celing joists.
7-27: Start main level demo - kitchen cabinets, windows and some walls.
7-26: Finish lower level framing.

Week 15: Joists complete - lower level framing began.

7-25: More moving out of kitchen.
7-24: Begining to move out of kitchen.
7-23: Most lower level walls are up.
7-22: Lay-out locations of walls and begin putting them up.
7-21: Put in blocking and outer walls.
7-20: Hung remaining joists
7-19: Hung more joists.

Week 14: Begin putting up floor joists.

7-17: Jose cleaned-up and did more demo since Bradley didn't show-up
7-16: Plumbers moved remaining kitchen pipes - no more hot water. Gas to stove/dryer off.
7-15: More joists hung.
7-14: More joitst hung. They cut a water pipe, fixed it but then forgot to turn the water back on :(.
7-13: First seven joists were installed
7-12: Removed stucco from side of kitchen and prepared to add joists.

Week 13: House back on its new foundation.

Week ending pictures.No more cribbing downstairs!
7-09 Kelly Brother's House Movers comes back to remove the I-beams, cribbing, and other bracing. The house is back on a foundation! Lots of creaking and groaning as they lifted the house back up again to pull out the beams.
7-8 Finished framing crib walls, now the house bracing can be removed.
7-7 More framing.
7-6 The full Bauman Construction crew showed up to start framing the crib walls that the house will rest on.
7-5 Hmmm, still quiet. :)

June

Week 12: Finish second set of blocks and pour concrete.

7-2 Still quiet.
7-01 Ahhh, quiet! Lots of wood arrives. Short ones, tall ones, big ones, small ones.
6-30 Done with concreted and digging! Borns completed their work Exactly on the day as scheduled. Coincedence or good scheduling?
6-29 Grout poured to fill block wall. Curtis comes back with the Bobcat to remove final bits of dirt in the backyard.
6-28 Block wall waterproofing, more backfilling.

Week 11: Last block wall, backfilling with stone and dirt.

6-25 More backfilling, finished block wall.
6-24 Started last block wall - the window well
6-23 Backfill behind the block walls with stone and dirt.
6-22 More waterproofing, digging, and busted out the remaining slab for the old fireplace.
6-21 Waterproofing and some final digging to get behind the walls to waterproof.

Week 10: Finish second set of blocks and pour concrete.

Week 5: Final preparations for and puring of slab/foundation.

5-10 Some rebar placed, house movers poured pier for steel support.

5-13 Final set-up for pour. Inspection passes.
5-14 Pour slab.

Week 4: Finalize digging, prepare for concrete

5-3 Sewer collapsed, temporary sewer added. Grading and precise cutting.
5-4 Grading, stones and sand brought in.
5-5 Form setting and rebar setting.
5-6 Rough plumbing.
5-7 First plumbing inspection. Structural Engineering/block/rebar issues dealt with.

April

Pre-construction

4-03 We started by removing the deck

4-13 Patio goes away, ramp into basement started.
4-14 Digging started under house, a bit of reinforcement added to hold up the kitchen, hot water heater moved.
4-15 More digging, bob cat flips and clears foundation.

Week 2: Demolition, Digging, and House Bracing

4-19 Begin removal of fireplace and more digging.

Week 3: Digging

4-26 Digging, some concrete removal. First big dumpster arrived.

4-28 Digging, driveway side curb removed. Interior fireplace removed.
4-29 Some digging, house movers reconfigure supports.
4-30 Media room light well dug, large pile of dirt in back yard.
